WMES Year End Plans

As we continue to make our way to the end of the school year, we are grateful for another year with all our amazing students. With many thing still going on in classrooms, and the upcoming provincial achievement exams, here is what our plans look like for the final few weeks.

June 16: Sharpen the Saw Event

10:00 - 12:00     Sharpen the Saw Activity Stations (Parents/Siblings welcome)

12:00 - 1:00       Year End BBQ Sponsored by School Council

Regular dismissal at 1:15

June 19:     Grade 6 Science Provincial Achievement Exam

June 20:     Grade 6 Reading Provincial Achievement Exam

June 21:     M/W Kindergarten Graduation 2:00 - 3:00 (Last Day for M/W Kinders)

June 22:     Grade 6 Math Part A Provincial Achievement Exam

                  T/Th Kindergarten Graduation 2:00 - 3:00 (Last Day for T/TH Kinders)

June 23:     Grade 6 Math Part B Provincial Achievement Exam

      Report Cards / Student Belongings Go Home

June 26:     Grade 6 Social Provincial Achievement Exam

9:00 - 11:00 Student Movie Morning in Gym 

1:45 - 2:30 Final Assembly (Grade 6 Celebration / Student Awards)

School Office Closed

Any students who are not here on either June 23 or 26th will have their report cards mailed to them. Unfortunately we will not be able to print any report cards early for those families that will be gone before then.

Class lists for the 23/24 school year will be available at the open house which will be on Friday September 1st from 11:00 - 1:00pm.
